Here is the summary of our conversation:

1. Liberty International .vs T-Mobile: According to Jeff Bakerink, he is in the discovery stages, and interviewing some top telecommunication attorneys. Shortly Liberty International will hire a law firm, and the complaint will be filed.

2. Does Liberty International Really Owe Money to T-Mobile: Randy Jeffers made it clear that Liberty International’s position is “NO Money is Owed.” When Liberty did an internal audit of the master T-Mobile bill, it was uncovered Liberty had been charged over $1 million dollars in overcharges in International Long Distance charges. When this was brought to T-Mobile’s attention, the relationship went south. Each day Liberty International was strung along. Until a few weeks ago, when Liberty International pulled the plug, and decided to file a civil complaint.

3. Frozen Merchant Accounts: Randy Jeffers was very open, as he was in Orlando last weekend with the Liberty International Field Force. Due to legitimate and fraudulent chargebacks, Liberty’s merchant processor has frozen funds. Jeff Bakerink made it very clear Liberty is reviewing each chargeback, and any found to be unwarranted, he will be passing on to authorities for criminal investigation, as well as the possibility of filing civil fraud charges.

4. Has Liberty International Laid Off Any Employees: Randy Jeffers told me they did lay off some employees, for several reasons. The main one being, with the new direction the company is moving, there will not be a need for as many employees. “We are out of the business of warehousing and shipping phones, so we do not need as many employees.”

5. Is Randy Jeffers Personally Covering Commissions Checks: Randy stated he has been covering the commission checks, and will continue to cover them in the short term. I asked Randy if he could give me an amount he is willing to cover, and he respectfully declined.

6. Is there A New Entity Taking Over Liberty International: Randy Jeffers and Jeff Bakerink were very clear, there is NO new entity taking over Liberty International. However they have made some strategic moves to protect the business opportunity for the Liberty International distributors as the old Liberty International aka WOW Mobile works its way through litigation with T-Mobile and the Chargeback Issues!

7. Is Liberty International Affiliated With Sprint, AT&T, Verizon or T-Mobile: Jeff Bakerink and Randy Jeffers both made it loud and clear, Liberty International Does Not have any type of affiliation with any of the four Tier 1 Wireless Carriers. “We do offer a PCS Platform, and will be adding additional wireless platforms in the near future. But again we are not affiliated or offering Sprint PCS services.

Now, based on the fact there could be pending litigation between WOW Mobile and Zoom Mobile, Mr. Foreman could not answer all my questions. However, he did clear up one major issue. One I feel is beneficial to field reps with both WOW Mobile and Zoom Mobile.

Mr. Foreman was very clear, he had already sent an official letter to WOW Mobile, in regards to their current allegations, and making it very clear, if the two companies can’t take care of things by just picking up the phone and talking, then Zoom Mobile was ready to take this to full litigation to maintain their reputation as an ethical MLM wireless telecommunication company.

Now this is huge in my book. Let’s put aside for a second which company may be right or wrong and ask a few questions.

1. What does it gain the reps if the companies go to litigation?

2. How much will it cost these two companies to try this case in a court of law?

3. At the end of the day win or lose, will any reps change companies? Unless one company is bankrupt?

4. What would happen if these two Founders, their attorneys and myself were to get on a private call, and work this out?

I sure don’t have the answers to the above questions, but I can assure you, if these companies would come together to work out their differences on a private call. Then maybe, just maybe other companies would wake up and realize it is always better to communicate freely, than to spend countless dollars on attorney fees and court costs.

I want to make a suggestion or two.

1. If you are a rep of WOW Mobile or Zoom Mobile, take a few seconds and leave a comment on this thread. Tell us if you want your company founder to do a private call as I mentioned above or if you want them to litigate this issue and spend countless dollars defending their position.

2. Send an email to your respective Founder and tell them to come read this post and the comments left.

It is time distributors stand up and let your founders know where you want them to invest their energies. There is no doubt in my mind George Burton founder of Zoom Mobile loves Zoom Mobile and newly formed Zoom Field Family. And, I know Randy Jeffers loves WOW Mobile, and the Liberty International Field Family.

So, since both men love what they are doing, and all of us fully understand there is plenty of room for more than one rock solid MLM Wireless Company, let’s not give the critics any more crap to bog about in this situation, let’s fix it.

Although, this is bound to be bloody for some distributors, who could lose their T-Mobile phone number. However, from the notices below we do see that Liberty International is communicating with their reps, and providing them with what seems like the fastest and best avenue for reps to protect their personal phone numbers.

The one silver lining in all of this, is the launch of the new PCS Platform. For the last few weeks we have seen competitors coming to MLM Helpdesk telling WOW reps and prospects, that WOW Mobile did not get their PCS agreement.

This weekend WOW Mobile put the critics to rest, as the launched the new WOW PCS Website.

Now, without a doubt, Liberty International aka as WOW Mobile, would like to remove the last 100 days from their history. But, since they can’t it seems Randy Jeffers, has told Jeff Bakerink, WOW’s corporate in-house attorney to take this issue to litigation to protect the distributors from any further disruption of business.

At the same time both Jeff and Randy feel very confident, come the first of the week they will start activating and shipping phones on their new PCS Platform.

From everything we were told today, it seems WOW has finally turned a corner. They are willing to go after T-Mobile for Breach of Contract, and several other civil crimes, and push forward with a couple of new carriers over the next 60-days or so.

I strongly suggest WOW distributors talk to Randy Jeffers about forging ahead with a distributor class action lawsuit against T-Mobile. If Randy can’t guide you on how to make that happen, then contact MLM attorney, Kevin Thompson at TheMLMAttorney.com and tell him Troy sent you over.

Although, there is no guarantee WOW or any other MLM Wireless company can fight an win against any of the Tier 1 carriers. If I were a betting man, I would say if anyone can fight them and win, it will be Randy Jeffers. The boy, seems to always land on his feet, and after 11 years, he has still never failed to pay commissions.
