Breaking MLM News: Global Verge Former CEO and CFO Break Their Silence

This open letter answers some questions, and raises even more to those who have been watching this saga unfold over the last year.

“We have been quiet long enough and we are using this letter to be proactive so that everyone can understand the actions of Steve Lewis and Teresa Curtis in the matter of Global Verge. Our purpose is to get the facts straight so the rumors and lies that are being circulated will be totally dispelled.
Fact – Steve and Teresa were asked in May 2009 by Mark and Ted to help them to organize a company that was going wild and out of their control. Steve and Teresa agreed to help behind the scenes to get things started and straightened out.
Fact – In late June Steve and Teresa agreed to help on an interim level acting as CEO and Secretary to the corporation (which we were for all of three weeks.) The agreement included the following:
• Teresa worked on scripts that were supposed to be turned into videos for the company
• Steve as acting CEO until such time as Warren Hanchey could take over as CEO.
• Teresa as overseer of the Accounting and office operations, including training Craig Perry, an excellent business man and attorney, who was not going to be the corporate attorney, but the operations manager in the issues and specialties of MLM operations.
• Teresa would also work on customer service to bring it up to date as Mark’s wife was handling it and didn’t want to.
• Gerry Nehra must be hired as MLM attorney.
• A Canadian MLM attorney was to be hired to make Canada legal as far as MLM was concerned.
• An Australian MLM attorney would be found to make Australia legal.
• Steve and Teresa would find merchant accounts because Mark and Ted could not obtain one on their own (we found out later it was because Mark had pled guilty on a 2005 securities fraud charge and was currently sentenced to 5 years probation plus repayment) For details see http://stlouis.bizjournals.com/stlouis/stories/2004/06/07/daily15.html
• Steve would also act as Marketing Director, starting a Triple diamond call to keep distributors apprised of the day by day current situation of the company.
• All Contracts were to be sent to Teresa to ascertain all legal liabilities of the company.
• Teresa would also become resident agent for the Nevada Corporation and therefore was supposed to get all the legal paperwork of the company as its agent.
All of this was agreed upon by Mark, Ted, Steve, Teresa, Warren and Craig in our living room in Las Vegas.
What we found out when things started to trickle in was:
• There was no accounting books anywhere. The commissions were being handled byXennsoft, an excellent software company, but the Global Verge ‘books’ were nonexistent. An August 2, 2009 email from Teresa to Ted shows that she was still trying to find out who was owed money and how much.
• What arrived for Teresa was a box with lots of paper in it, which had to be sorted out with Ted there as there was no rhyme or reason to it.
• The customer service ticket system was like a big pot that only a couple of people could handle and then they had to go through all of tickets to find the new ones and answer them. Teresa went in and organized it so that small issues could be taken care of immediately and larger issues were routed to the proper person.
• Teresa also found contracts to people for large sums of money. There was no record of this money coming in to Global Verge. When she raised this issue, it became the first time that Mark stated that Buzzirk Mobile was separate from Global Verge and that all of our work was with Global Verge and NOT Buzzirk Mobile.
• The next issue came when Teresa was looking for contracts between Global Verge, Buzzirk Mobile and Zer01. We were all told that the contract with Zer01 was with Buzzirk Mobile and Zer01 and that Global Verge had nothing to do with it. Craig Perry was then asked to put together a contract with Zer01 and Buzzirk Mobile. The management staff kept insisting that Global Verge have a written contract with Buzzirk, but we have no knowledge if this was ever done.
• At this point we also found out that Mark was on probation for securities fraud and that he wasn’t allowed to leave the state, sell securities or solicit funds in any way. Teresa immediately asked Mark and Ted about the trips that Mark was taking and about the contracts that Mark had signed regarding money solicited for investment from Canada and Australia. She was informed that those contracts were with Buzzirk and not Global Verge and she basically should ‘butt out’.
• Steve and Warren had also gone out on a personal and financial limb and had convinced 2 merchant account dealers that they would back Global Verge’s credit card accounts. All of us began to feel really uneasy about that.
• We had also helped find funding for Global Verge, (yes Mark solicited us for it) fortunately that money was on a short term basis and did indeed get paid back.
Needless to say, all of these incidents were raising red flags. The biggest red flag that was raised came from Mark’s refusal to allow us to even talk to Zer01. We wanted some straight answers instead of the changing commentary that we were getting from Mark. The story was changing daily. We finally insisted on meeting with Ben Piilani which was agreed to as long as Ted was with us. During that meeting we found out several things that for us put the icing on the cake as far as Mark was concerned.
• According to Ben, Mark had lied to us about what Ben had promised. Since Ben also was not living up to his contract about providing service, we were willing to give Mark the benefit of the doubt.
• Ben told us that he thought we might have service in the US in about a month.
• Canada was at least 6 months away
• Australia was at least a year away.
• He did have a voip service that he might be able to use in Canada and Australia.
We left that meeting in shock and horror. Ted Robbins showing as much shock and horror as the rest of us. We sat down and decided that the only way to save the company was to:
• Remove Mark’s name from all ties with the company and put all the stock in Ted’s name. We NEVER asked for stock to be put in our name. The closest we came to that is to ask that stock be set aside for rewards to Employees who had been there at least five years.
• Find another true cellular phone company that we could use for Canada and Australia until such time as Zer01 was ready with their product.
• Find out where all the money that Mark had received from Canada and Australia had gone to. Had some of it gone to Zer01? Was that why Mark did not want us involved with it? What deal did he personally have with Zer01?
Ted got Mark on the phone and Mark agreed that he would do whatever it took to make Global Verge successful. He agreed to hand over to Ted his stock certificates, stating that after all the money was in Buzzirk and not Global Verge. Ted went back to the office to accomplish this task, Warren contacted another phone company that we had talked to and we set about putting a service together that would satisfy Global Verge’s international clients.
The next thing we hear is that Mark is NOT going to turn over his stock. This was a complete reversal on what he had said. All of a sudden Ted was agreeing with him, after all his posturing when he was at our house. They also stated in no uncertain terms that were not even going to look at another phone company for Canada and Australia and that they are going to stick strictly with Zer01. We were told that Australia and Canada were NOT to be told what we had found out about from Zer01. In other words, lie to the distributors.
We then had a meeting with Steve, Teresa and Warren who agreed that this was totally unsatisfactory and against our integrity. We told Mark and Ted that unless they came up with a satisfactory way to solve the issue, we would all resign by Friday. On Thursday morning, after Craig Perry had left for another meeting with Zer01 in an attempt to reconcile everything, Mark and Ted fired the three of us.
We were told that we could keep the approximately 32,000 person downline that we had and nothing else would be affected. Even though this obviously meant a great deal of money to us, we could NOT be that far out of integrity. We told them in no uncertain terms that we were NOT going to have anything else to do with them and we all resigned from our distributorships.
They immediately put out a rush email and ambushed Craig on his way back from the meeting with Ben and staged a “isn’t it wonderful how we have everything going for us” call. We then put out an email to the Triple Diamonds and had a call where we told them the truth.
Craig Perry stayed with the program for a few more months and finally resigned.
Zer01 resigned from them and I hear there is a lawsuit going on. There should be. Our feeling is that Zer01 may have had the technology, but they were nowhere near being able to produce it. Zer01 did not resign because of us and it has been long enough now that people know the truth, we did NOT start another company with Zer01, though both
Mark and Ted used that as an excuse and as usual needed a scapegoat and our resignation left them a perfect target.
After we realized what liars Mark and Ted were, we no longer backed the merchant accounts. So yes we were responsible for those getting shut down, but we can’t figure out why Mark and Ted would think that we would financially back them after the things we found out.
We talked to no other vendors or tried to harm Global Verge in any way.
Craig Perry remains a staunch friend and assured us that while Mark and Ted were bad mouthing us in private, they had promised not to do so in public. Craig totally denied ever hearing Mark and Ted blaming us in public for anything.
Yet he also couldn’t deny that he was hearing all kinds of strange things from the distributors that were totally untrue. We only have the distributors who called and cussed us out for trying to steal the company to know that they blamed us as they blamed everyone else for the previous company going under. Craig finally had had enough and resigned a few months after we did.
It’s amazing how the story of E-verge and the story of Global Verge coincide so well. Could it be that Mark and Ted have played this game before and that’s how they got their money?
I think it is amazing that we have copies of contracts where Mark got almost a million dollars, yet what did he do with it? There was a lot of interaction between Zer01 and Buzzirk – or really a lot of interaction between Mark and Ben.
Could it be that there was something going on over at Zer01 that Mark was a part of? We all thought that until Zer01 quit Buzzirk a week later. Then we couldn’t figure out what the “cloak and dagger” business was about between Mark and Zer01.
Did Ben take that million dollars and screw Mark? Is Mark still involved with Ben? We found that relationship really strange and couldn’t figure out what Mark and Ted had done with all the money.
There were so many underhanded things going on behind the scenes that had to come to light. We found out so much that we left and warned everyone what was going to happen. Oh, yeah – it did happen. Guess we were right all along!
But it couldn’t have been Mark or Ted’s fault after all, could it? It had to all be the fault of Steve, Teresa and Warren. We had a whole 3 weeks to try and get a company together that Mark and Ted had spent two years and many lies to create.

FYI – 90% of what Steve and Teresa say about GV is true. What you need to know though as much as it is true both of these two pose as a couple of sheep but are really a couple of wolves who have some VERY unsavory history of their own. Let's just say I won't call them as key defense witness's at my own murder trail as the prosecution would have a hay day picking apart "their" credibility.
Bottom line is the financial hemorrhaging that GV is causing their Kool-Aide drinkers needs to come to an end. K. T. What are you waiting for. Let's nail these bastards!

Also, For $10 more you can gt the blackberry service from boost, Once again not the working of chris..
I have been a boost customer since the day they started the $50 everything service in 2008.. SO I do not who's kool aid your drinking, but Chris has nothing to do with what Boost mobile has done.
In fact the Blackberry service through boost has been up and running for nearly a month. Sorry, But Once again, Your Hero Chris has nothing to do with it.

Hey all wireless has been a part of MLM since it was first introduced to the world. I am not sure it will ever go away, I just think it may go back to being a smaller part of the over all offering.
I think the main issue is most of the companies who are focusing on wireless are using it as a ploy to cover up the fact they are paying out high commissions inside of a matrix compensation plan. When the wireless service is all from internal consumption, and the companies are not enforcing their own customer qualification rules, then we have an issue.
Just some thoughts.

The reason why Boost can tether to a laptop IN SOME AREAS and be faster than Verizon, IS because Sprint Bought into a company called CLEAR Used to be called Clearwire. CLEAR is the ONLY 4G internet carrier in the United States. The phones will have the chip built in to access the signal CLEAR offers..IT is not because of what Chris says he offered. The is a straight out LIE. NO wireless company as of yet offers anything over a 3G network, Only CLEAR has the ability to offer 4G speeds. (which was not being considered for Cell phone use, Until Sprint bought into it and figured out it may be a good idea)
Please do your homework on this subject, before you hurt the people following you because they have no clue of the Facts. Afterall, It is public knowledge!
This is the exact reason why when i left GV i did not follow the leaders. People in this industry tend to believe everything someone tells them without doing the research to back it up.
If there is a slim chance that i may be wrong about what i said about Chris ( unlikely), I will apologize in due time, However you can pretty much google and find out everything i just wrote to be true.
Im seriously starting to think that Chris or Panther mobile might be another GV and starting to make promises they cant keep, Not only that, But i just looked at panther mobile site, Why are they selling Simple Moble and Page plus?? if Chris Has what he says he has???

Seems like another scam to me, especially when i can go straight to simple mobile AND page plus and get the same plan for less!! And become a dealer for them and make my own commission with out OVERCHARGING people for it!

(hey I am all about him showing GV for what it is, don't get me wrong as I know all to well the inside scoop on those crooks) but this is very disturbing. Information place on your site is not meant to SELL but educate the naive public. He has page after page of sales material and what I can't figure out is why you allow this. I guess I should be posting Once a day and pitch my Op and before you know it every Tom Dick and Harry will be doing the same and that my friend is when Troly Dooley's creditability as a Super Human Crusader for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Shaking down the Scams in this industry, is shot!

We do allow a person to share about their business by providing a place for links in their profile. This did get out of hand, and we fixed the issue.
Wow guy, look if you call me saying that wow is the only other company I feel is legit in mlm wireless, how is that pitching my own product. Look when people post asking questions I answer the
unlike anyother Owner or executive in mlm. I do not mute my daily calls to the field etc. So when a distributor asks about the business I give them info to make an informed decision. So is Troy wrong for letting me let the distributor know there is a place with a physical office, and that our company sells all four carriers? I think it gives people a choice, and in my opinion you are scared for your company as you should be, when we can offer the talk text and data unlimited with tethering and international calling for 54.99. I thinks that’s called shock and awe, see wow is a good product for what it is, but your company is charging 89.99 for the product we offer on t-mobile and sprint for 54.99 we also have boost, pageplus, AT&T, verizon, omni, platinumtel, xtreme mobile, so it is what it is, I’m not plastering this site with adds or pushing a product I am answering the questions of the distributors that are tired of being burned.

Be Fair to yourself, Be Loyal to yourself – not to a self proclaimed leader that we feel is making a very bad decision.
This is your business, your future, YOU and you alone make the decision.
1. DO NOT BLINDLY follow anyone. You have a mind, use it.
2. Assess the opportunity yourself.
3. Be Skeptical – Ask yourself – WHY is this group cross recruiting????
4. Could it be that they are trying to protect "Their income – not yours?"
5. Do your own "Due Diligence" – don't blindly accept what the person or group trying to recruit you is saying.
6. Check out the company, check out the owners of the company and their track records (or lack thereof). If nothing is available – that's a RED FLAG.
7. Question MOTIVE: When someone bad mouths, or tries to hurt another's business in order to promote their own – I was always taught to avoid them. READ their correspondence with this in mind.

What I find hysterical here is that not one of the reps that joined Global Verge over the last year did any of this! LOL!!!!

More foolishness via email though I ended my involvement with GV months ago:

Do NOT be mis-lead – these emails are NOT offering their support. These e mails are simply a blatent attempt to cross recruit you to another company. Please Do NOT respond to them, they do NOT have your best interest at heart.
First – while we value highly EVERY member of our group, we realize no one "belongs to anyone" and everyone is free make any decision they want too. However, in order to make the right decision, you need to know the facts to base your decisions on. So please allow us to clear up some mis-information that is being passed around as fact.
The Global Group was NEVER at the top of Global Verge (The Global Group was on our 15th level). They do NOT have, (and have never had) the fastest growing group in Global Verge – WE DO! (We have over 42,000 people who have joined our team since we started a year ago this month!!)
I was taught at an early age that "If you can't say something good about someone, the simply say nothing at all!" The Global Group violates this cardinal rule with every communication. Does that show true leadership? I think not."

You make a valid point. Several times I would talk to leaders in GG and although, they agreed there were issues, they did not act blind to them. And as I have written several times if the leaders in the field could have bought GV, they would have turned it around.
Now don't get me wrong, I am still just as frustrated with them, as I was months ago for staying this long. But, if they can launch a company which operates with legally and with the welfare of the distributors as one of their main priorities, along with making a profit, then before long people will forgive them for staying as long as they did.
As a former GV associate I saw the proverbial writing on the wall last summer when deadlines weren't being met and corporate was insisting that everyone take down their websites and blogs. Personally I haven't seen a decent network marketing company come out in quite some time. It's just the same individuals mostly rip-off artists and con-men re-branding themselves every twelve to eighteen months.

i spoke to steve in September. He told me that he did have a phone and it worked great! So what can i say. He lied to me and thats enough for me to believe he is lying about how much he actually knew was going on with GV. This Son Biotch told me he had the phone and it worked great!
And to the person that stated she cant believe whats going on with GV and that she is so disappointed. I ask you this. Why did it take so long to figure this scheme was going bad? Who lead you along your upline? who is him/her? Lets drag all the bad guys out into the open so that this never happens agian.
I'm not sure who told me this, but I hear that the person who coordinated the exotic dancers for Gv was a person named Carie F. I'm not sure, but I hear she is with a new network marketing company and WOW is it a global group. She is arranging her dancers to get new reps. GENERALLY: When people make uniformed comments based on what they've heard from someone else or SOMETHING they've read on other blogs and forums, it's a SIGN OF being inexperienced OR SADLY …BEING A PART OF the instant messenging and online RUMOR MILLS that seem to SELF INSTALL, inluding other blogs and forums.
SADLY WITHOUT much else to do …people WILL burn up the phone lines in the name of BUSINESS WITHOUT ANY. SELF IMPORTANCE to SOME IS SIMPLY TALKING! Our experience has taught us that SOME WILL talk about most ANYTHING rather than to FOCUS on learning about and building their OWN business! A LOT of those are IN GENERAL the FIRST ones to want to tell you what business to join and HOW TO DO IT!
Unfortunately, there ARE people that DO believe most anything and everything they read or hear!
Notice we said GENERALLY. We feel SO strongly that IT IS UP TO THOSE OF US that in fact ARE EXPERIENCED to TEACH and GUIDE not only new people to the industry but also those not so new that may not have learned ETHICS 101 BEFORE arriving and deciding to do a Home Based Business!
So the GV call went we are excited, They admit wireless celphone service is even farther away, They admit or elude to the fact there is NO MVNO, They say they have to get their foot in the door to even be considered so now they have to be a reseller, OK we know this but let me say AMP’D. BOOST, Omni, AirVoice, and many others were never resellers of some other MVNO, that is a lie, Further they say they are about to open the warehouse in KC and Florida, WAIT WAIT WAIT, what happened to the Warehouses with all the i-phones, Wow, Then best of all, GV says they have updated their phone system (cough cough) paid their bill, And when Mark goes to speak, A speaker on the line I dont know who, But I hear, BEEP BEEP BEEP, WERE SORRY BUT THE NUMBER YOU REACHED IS NO LONGER IN SERVICE, WOW those phones sound great, No bud Nemith on the Call, Jan, Jim Helman, Wow the are bringing out the big guns!!!, To bad its to late for them, They kept talking about foundation, Well it doesnt take 1 year to sell a wireless service, Panther is a Prime example, So lets all keep this 100% real, Global Verge is so scared that they are begging to keep the leaders they have left, Ruth has disappeared, not on the calls webinars, So it is what it is, NO WIRELESS SERVICE MEANS NO BUSINESS, see global verge keeps Harping on their OTHER PRODUCTS, POWER SAVERS, AND WATER MACHINES, DOOOO NOOOT, pay a residual income, And Mark and Ted how do you think you got so many to sign up? cellular service thats why. So now that you say that it will be even longer. wow so another promise not kept, and it will continue, thats all I can say is look at the Track record they dont produce.

As a condition of participating in the GLOBALVERGE opportunity and inconsideration of receipt of commissions and other bonuses from GLOBALVERGE, a former eAssociate may not recruit any GLOBALVERGE e-associate or customer for another direct selling, multilevel, network marketing, or relationship marketing company for a period of six months following the termination, expiration, or cancellation of the eAssociate agreement.
Well, I guess the question might arise on if GV broke the agreement first by not paying all commissions or bonuses.
I still do not think GV would do anything because it would mean they know the respondents will push for their books to be opened and made a part of the court records.

I hear things are not going well between Kevin Harry and Chris. I hear that panther is having money issues, etc. Wonder where chris has been, Is he leaving Panther for Global Group, Thats what I am hearing.

I think I can answer that question. I was on the phone with the guys Friday for about two hours and things were great. I was back on the phone with Kevin today right after he he had walked out of their new office where he had signed the lease. He was pretty stoked on where they were heading.
Chris called today to fill me in on some new phone services and to see if I can guide him on how to get phones and sim cards to our troops in Haiti, so Panther could support the cause down there.
So not sure where you heard things were not going well, but from what they guys told me, it could not be better. I will be doing a full report in the new few days.

No worries! Things couldn't be better with Panther Mobile and YES …they signed a lease for their new office space and call center as we understand it. We too were on the phones today and everyones happy! There just couldn't have been a better or sooner solution for those that needed something really fast and someone that COULD provide everything Global Verge never would! That's not to say there aren't other options available but the people we know sure do have HUGE smiles on their faces …SMILES you can hear right through the phone!
Thanks to Harry and Kevin – those two guys have been working their hearts out. I mean hey …call in the morning and the CEO answers the phone – same with Kevin the CEOO. I was very clear to the fact I was on the phone with Chris, Kevin and Harry. As for Frank Lying… Well he was one of the loudest voices to the fact Global Verge was bringing our 5G and had control of the 2100 band for the phones from the very beginning. As a matter of fact if you go all the way back to the first articles we wrote you will see many on the call very upset because of Frank's recorded calls which were completely false.
Maybe Frank is lying, or maybe this is just you trying to make waves, or maybe Frank is using some form of marketing to try and gain some of his folks back from Panther. No matter what it is, I personally talked to all the players at Panther on a regular basis, and Chris communicates daily because I am testing the phones.

this is standard verbiage for most agreements. However, the question which will come up is who was the first to establish the relationship, the distributor through their online system, or GV? The next question will be was the person in question attracted to the online system or upline leader in general or just because of GV.
This Friday on Aces Radio Live I will be interviewing Orrin Woodward, who left Amway a couple of years ago, and took 50K distributors with him. Amway one an arbitration suit against him and others of his leaders in the tune of $45 million dollars. The arbitration was a 180 degree turn from what a court upheld on another case, which made it clear the distributor has control of the database.
So this could get interesting.

Sadly your little tale rings true. I use to think the Christian community was the only community who killed off their wounded, but from what I have seen since January 1st 2010, the MLM community is quickly taking the #1 spot.
I'm thinking we need to create a Reverse type of company where the stockholders are the distributors.
Your numbers are a little off, but the context of the statement is true. And I agree 100%, people should take their time finding the right company.
The following statement will be raw and uncut, but it is how I see this…
Most distributors enter into a relationship with an upline or MLM company like they do a marriage. All the lust, excitement, hype, and blindness of the emotions, cause them to never slow down to see how things will be after the hot passionate honeymoon sex is over.
Everything feels good, looks good, smells good, tastes good, then the lust wears off, the lights are turned on, and they find out, they married the wrong person.
All of which could have been avoided, had they kept their clothes on in the first place and took their time to ask some specific questions, courted the person a little bit, got to know the family a little more, asked questions about other failied relationships, and just calmly took their time.
Let's all use this latest in craziness as a learning experience we can share with others.

Since I am not in WOW I may be able to shed from 3rd party light on your question. The basis of MLM was built on getting your product or services for free. When you think about it a second, most critics state… 95% of people who join MLM never get their money back. Although that is a myth, the fact is at WOW people are not only getting them money back, they are making some money also.
As for the compensation plan… it has worked for 10 years, and the reps have made some pretty solid income in some areas, and earned they money back in others.
I would like to see that Frank Varon and the other so called leaders like Jim Helman, Ruth, Jan Johnson pay dearly as well as Mark and Ted. Here was an email that was sent out that is very powerful:

Out of the hundreds of associates we had, we only have a handful of active paying reps remaining! No pre-paid plans, post-paid plans, family plans, roadside assistance, mini laptops, no routers, air cards, etc.
Everything has been "coming" in a few weeks now for months and months. DON'T YOU EVEN CARE?
I personally visited GV HQ where I had Mark Petschel show me all the products that were not prototypes…routers, phones, usb air cards, etc.

If I remember correctly, Global Verge once boasted they were distributing 400,000 products.
So, if the phone plans thingie is a bust, they still have 399,999 other products to peddle.

Wow! Three times you've posted the same comment – maybe a mistake but your point has been noted. Now about your opinion of …"a whole lot more than Voip" …doesn't it even sound a little strange to you the oh so obvious time lines with eVerge to Global Verge all with the same people involved and now on to Global Group and their NewCo now RENAMED "People Helping People, Inc." …??? If history tells the story (and it does), this is merely yet another attempt to keep the monies flowing to WHO KNOWS WHO (?) and nothing more!

When you were at global verge, you made promises, you were on calls, you made video's all on behalf of Global verge. Now you are tooting your own horn about your own companies whatever they are. Why should anyone believe anything you say, as far as I am concerned, you lost all your credibility with your association with Global verge. You lied to me and I have all the e mails to prove it. You should get out of the business before you take more people down.
Well this has definitely become a rather intriguing development.
As most people in this community by now know, I have been a staunch supporter and defender of GV. But, I see a few things that raise a few more red flags. The largest organization in GV, Global Group has sent some interesting emails over the last two days. Although unconfirmed, I suspect the leadership of this organization are about to bolt.
The biggest clue that fuels my suspicion (again, this is my theory based on the little info I have) is that the teamgg.com calendar has been cleared of all upcoming events. There are others, but this is my biggest red flag.
My suggestion for GV e-associates that lurk here.
Cancel your autoship and delete your payment info from the back office. Do not cancel your membership. This minimizes your risk in two ways.
One, if the ship sinks, you will no longer pay to watch it go down.
Two, if GV does get it together and delivers as promised the products we have been waiting for, you will not have to wait six months to re-join.
Now before the chorus of self righteous "I told ya so's" ring out, I will publicly state that I will be the first to admit I was wrong, should my suspicions be correct and the leadership is bolting. I will also publicly apologize to Chris Greco for all the grief I gave him on this forum, with the exception of my getting on his case for privacy violations. And finally I will ask for suggestions on how best prepare crow for eating
, as it appears I may be feasting on the big black bird in the near future.

My heart goes out to all the GV members, for I was with them from June till early December. And have been following since. For those that share that we need to get over it and move on. There is truth on that, but don't you believe we have a right to express our experience? Come on now, be real!
Many people have lost thousands of dollars…in the 'hopes' of a company, the owners knew was not going anywhere. I understand that we need to take ownership in our own decision making. At this time of the worlds situation, we all look to creative ways to increase our Financial Means. And take a risk to accomplish this.
I commend those of you that stood, with blind faith, that GV could come back, and make good on there promises. Unfortunately they failed and brought honest, hard working people along. My prayer is that God will heal this womb and help them back to the right path.

Given the letter from Steve and Theresa and the fact that it looks like the big triple diamonds are bailing I wonder (and hope) if they finally pulling the plug, turning out the lights and heading for the hills. It's going to happen sooner or later and the sooner this ends the better. BTW. I would think long and hard about following these big names anywhere. If they had YOUR interests at heart they would ave bailed a very long time ago. That's just my opinion but it seems to me that these once respected names just hung on as long as they could keep cashing checks. Now that THEY aren't getting any checks it's time to leave. Thye did not care that no one else was getting anything.
I find this interesting. I know there are still antiquated systems out there, but in this case GV is located in a fairly new building with new technology. Maybe they just need time off to relax from all the phone calls during the week.
A couple of interesting notes. Although I bailed on this a long time ago I still get all the emails. Last night I got one from Global Group, supposedly 25,000 strong, sayng: !!! A NEW BEGINNING IS COMING FOR ALL MEMBERS OF GLOBAL GROUP !!! What we have all toiled for, for nine long months will not be in vain because the leaders of Global Group have been working tirelessly and have created the long term solution that we have courageously struggled for. A long-term solution with a credible, established and professional management team…. A team with massive resources pouring in to develop what we have always wanted…. THE COMP PLAN WE ALL WANT…. i was in GV when Steve was CEO…. He had asked the E associates to send in emails on how to improve things…or so we were led to believe. Very shortly rumor has is that Steve was gone withe the database and emails… Low and behold Steve popped up at TeleVerus. This is just speculation but i wonder what story he tol Mr Manning. Wish I could have been a fly on the wall.
Numrerous associates of mine said they were approached by Steve to leave GV and go to TeleVerus.
I dont not for sure if he had the database but a bit suspicious.
All I can say is Steve was involved e with Zero0 and GV and I hear Televerus isnt doing very well and he was in both businesses. Steve might be a great guy and i know an avid fisherman.
I just would personally never be in a business in which he was at the helm.

You make a great point. However, in his open letter he is very clear they already sat on top of over 30K worth of the downline. They would have already had that database. Plus since Teresa had sent several emails and had access to the main database, I don't think he needed folks to send him emails to get the database.
I have talked to David, and know the story he told. Although it is private and off the record, and I can say it does line up with this open letter. By the way I talked to David way back when Steve made the move.

I dont know thw whole story … but i can tell you i was in Buzzirk mobile when Steve was acting CEO, He asked everyone to sen him emails to get a better handle of the company, It is my opinion he knew him and theresa were leaving buzzirk ana he wanted to build his database before he went to Televerus.____I also know people who have told me steve contacted them to get into Televerus. It just seemed a little shady to me. that him taking these emails might have helped him at Televerus. Steve & Teresa were running the company and Teresa was sending out emails, they had access to the complete database and did not need folks sending them emails.
What is the issue with Steve being "terminated" from GV and going to a competing company, as long as he did not sign a NON-Compete?
They may not be doing well at TelaVerus because like GV TeleVerus had to change the focus and move towards more traditional wireless services.
I know David Manning personally, and he is one of the most ethical men I have the privilege of knowing. I do understand your position, but sometimes we all make mistakes. Although some folks just keep sinning over and over.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't this how GV launched? It was with folks being cross recruited out of their primary companies into GV? This looks like a track record to me. In researching most of the vocal leaders, they are all either currently in other companies, or were in other companies when they came to GV.
Now, I know we can debate "multiple streams of income all day long" but this is one of the reasons I teach people to find one company with multiple streams, then to try and build multiple companies.

You're RIGHT on the mark here! GV Launched off the mattress's of what eVerge did and failed at! There WERE and STILL ARE people from BOTH companies tied together that CROSS promoted in order to EXPAND and BUILD QUICKLY the downlines of Global Verge!
Now we're NOT so blind as to think they did ANYTHING right after the downfall of eVerge. It's obvious and CLEAR to see they continued their same methods and concepts and created yet ANOTHER NEW company with which people who were there in the beginning of the FIRST ONE (eVerge) benefitted handsomely from what was done AFTER the fact with Global Verge!
You're also CORRECT about the debate regarding "multiple streams of income" all day long! The problem there lies soley with something called EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE and NOT with all the bodies and heads popped in-toward something ONLY to benefit financially!

Great comment! This life changing even ranks in the hearts of some just like 9/11 does or those who has lost someone close to a MIA/POW situation. None of us should ever forget this situation. We should use it as a turning point, so we dig a little deeper in advance, and don't get caught up in the hype.
It is situation like this which does one of two things to a team… They become closer, or it rips them apart. My personal prayer is that teams stay together and find a new home. It doesn't matter if it is inside of MLM wireless or another niche, but together they will be able to find a good company, look everything over, then present the company with what they desire before the join.

Although their is a lot of anger I hope that everyone can put it behind them and succeed anyway. The important thing is to get back on the horse as soon as possible and NOT sit and stir in the anger, lies, and so on. It does not good. However, consider it a learning experience, find a new company to build a business LONG-TERM and research that company. Start right here with MLMHelpdesk and check out what Rod Cook has to say and go for it. There are some other watch dogs for the industry but the often seem to have an agenda so be careful of that. As Troy says, "See you at the top."

Hello Micha, I spent the last 7 months waiting and working very hard to make some extra money with GV, I spent lots of money in marketing, paying for my brochures, making calls and creating a big phone bill to get people into GV. Giving GV our last dollar just to make our Auto-Ship instead of buying food to put on our table because we were so excited about this business ONLY to get kicked in the Ass by Ted and Mark! I am so so mad and just to let you know that sense all this happened I have not been able to sleep! ! I can't sleep my GOD!! I understand what you are saying about putting your last dollars into GV. I have been doing this since June. But, I must tell you that being angry isn`t the way to go. You won`t be able to move forward. You need to understand that when you violate probation, the penalty is great…….so, more lawsuits and violation of probation should exact the revenge that you seek.
We must all be strong enough to just let it go and find an honourable company to do business with. From what I understand, there is something in the wind (telecommunications) whereby those of us that have been in GV & lost are concerned will be rewarded. I will let you know when I have more details.

Chris is only part of the story BUT …he's the GOOD PART! Why chastise Chris when it's GV that's done ALL the harm to both Chris and others in GV? We don't get ANYONE that has a beef with those who have TRIED and ACCOMPLISHED PROVIDING PHONES & SERVICES when GV DID NOT!
Regarding being …"lily white" …Theres NOT a shred of truth in ANYONE claiming to be "lily white" in this industry, let alone LIFE these days and IN this economy! PLEASE remember the saying " but for the grace of God …there go I" …that DOES NOT apply to willful, intentional, greedy people that care less about others!

Excellent point. It doesn't matter if it is Chris, Steve, Teresa, Craig, or any other person who is not a stockholder, board member, or founder of the company. At the end of the day, the buck stops with the Founders. Leaders always take responsibility for the failures and give all the credit for the successes to their teams.
I have yet to see this happen in the last 10 years with Ted and Mark.
I wonder if they believe that an investigation is coming, and trying to clear their name now. I still remember a call with (I am 90% certain it was him) Steve where he said they had phones working, and we asked him to video them and post to u-tube, and he hemmed and hawed and became frustrated. I believe much of this story, but I think they may have had more knowledge then they are telling. I can't prove it, and to me it really doesn't matter any more, but everyone makes mistakes. I hope this facilitates the end of GV. No one needs to be scammed any more by them. I do feel for the associates, I spent money on marketing (cards, and flyers and other) neglected my other business that was making money, just because of GV. It was my mistake not to have investigated them properly.

I believe you are correct. But, I have to say when you are the CEO of a company, you need to sign the company song. And if the song is to far off key, then you had better quit the choir, which seems to be what happened.
I'm not sure we will ever know for sure what happened, but this does stir the pot just a little bit. It will be interesting to see what comes of this.

I believed my upline and that " all the top leadership must have already done the research work before they got in" sales pitch that was feed to most of us. I hope they are arrested for this, too many people have been hurt by this scam and it has reflected badly on the MLM indusrty. I also remember Steve actions were not too innocent either, if memory serves me correctly. I got out, my friends and family got out and I hope and pray that GV will be shut down once and for all.

I do appreciate your comments. I think checking out a company is critical as there are many "wantabees" out there that don't have stable footing and fly initially on hope, but no substance.

Just ask Troy how Wowmobile is. He has been using the phone for well over a month with no trouble at all. The proof is in the pudding. We have actually everything you were promoting and never had. It is so refreshing to promote a company that has what they say they have. Good luck getting your reputation back after promoting a Scam so long.
I can stay the service has been great. Now I have not had to call customer service or tech support with any questions. But from what I hear both customer service and tech support are US based, so it has to be better than the hour I was on the phone on hold last week, waiting to talk to an eFax rep, who I learn is in India and can't answer my question. He haded me to call back when he could patch me back to a US based rep.

Look, I understand the psychology behind putting in a lot time and energy into a business and not wanting to let it go. I am judgmental because so much information and broken promises were out there, and that reps stayed the course and still promoted the business and recruited more people. Many leaders stayed the course, instead of searching for a better place to take their group, just to keep the money coming in, until the events of last month.
I think they had high hopes even with all the information and lies that were going around, and they wanted to secure their group even though they knew it was wasting your money. Hey, I could be wrong, and for your sake i hope I am, but…I don't think I am.

Your comment about the question as to who was the first to create a relationship in cross-promoting is a good one. The fact is: most who surf web-sites seeking something to do as a business are psychologically affected by several things …
There ARE a LOT of people FOLLOW OTHER people generally because of the monies they've already made in marketing OR …by their notability in the industry. (not the best reason). As with MOST (if not all) CORPORATE MAIN websites – if a person JOINS on that MAIN Company website – they're either put into the system beneath someone in a randomly chosen or system / software chosen downline OR they become a PART OF the Corporate leg in the system.
In any event – MORE OFTEN and USUALLY – there is NO way for a company to generally ENFORCE such policies as MOST MARKETERS are FREE Agents in WHAT they choose to do and UNLESS they're PART OF the CORPORATE principles – they ARE NOT bound by CORPORATE CONTRACT other than agreeing to Terms & Conditions which often state polices are open to change as necessary at any time.
