Does Social Web 20 Marketing Work For MLM

A question I hear on a regular basis is “does Social and Web 2.0 Marketing work for people growing an MLM business on the internet.

Well, I decided to show some personal stats that might help you decide if you want to take some time to learn more about Social Marketing.

In the last few weeks the newest search engine Cuil.com launched (Which I wrote about over at the DeskPing Blog.)

Well at first folks did not know how to take this new “BLACK” search engine. Even I was somewhat taken back when my business partner and founder of MLM Leads Enrique Garibay shared with me that MLMLeads.com is not ranked on the front page under the search term “MLM Leads.” In every other search engine we dominate this niche.

So I decided to get to the bottom of this situation and here is what I found.

Cuil.com focuses on Social Marketing sites more than they do traditional websites.

I decided to use my name as a case study and here is what I found.

Search Terms

troy dooly - 2,290 results. The first 56 results are from Social Marketing sites like Digg, Propeller, Plime, Ning, MyBlogLog, you get the idea.

dooly troy - 1273 results. And yes once again the whole front page is Social Marketing Sites.

So, if you are going to build your network marketing business on the internet, and you have not taken time to really focus and learn about Web 2.0 and Social Marketing and what those two terms truly mean then I strongly suggest you start today.

Here are three steps you can take to get started.

1. Click this link “Social Marketing Resources.” Although these are not all the resources I use, it will give you a start.

2. Go over to DeskPing and create a test account. DeskPing is a Web 2.0 service that will give you a complete turnkey Web 2.0 Marketing Platform. And yes, I do have equity in this company.

3. Contact me with questions. Although I do not have all the answers, and after thousands of dollars in mentoring and countless hours of research I have yet found anyone who does.
