Are You A MLM Leader Worth Following

Thank you for coming back by to visit. Feel free to leave me a comment on the post you enjoyed the most.

If you are new to the network marketing profession you need to remember that you cannot be everything to everybody. In other words, you do not have to be there every moment of the day for everyone on your team.

I bet I have your attention now!

I’m not saying don’t serve your team, what I am saying is; less is more when it comes to this side of your MLM business.

The fact of the matter is that if you want to attract solid business partners you need to show your team that your time is very valuable. This way, people who join your team will know that you are an expert and they will call on you when they need your expertise, not when they just want to chit chat.

Most people, who join a network marketing team, are programmed to act as if they are working for an hourly wage instead of focusing on their true value. Well from this point forward YOU will not think that way!

In order to open more distribution centers (attract new business partners) and in turn more money, you will need to set yourself apart from the rest of the competition. It doesn’t matter what you company you are with, or what product/service you are marketing, you can dominate in your company/niche if you will set some time boundaries.

When you start acting like a CEO instead of an hourly employee you will be showing people that you are focused on success, not just making a few dollars. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have all the answers all the time. Your team will know you are a specialist who is focused on helping them succeed, and they in turn will start to emulate your actions.

So starting right now take there two action steps:

1. Set Business Hours. Even if you are working your business part-time set specific hours when you will make call, answer the phone and schedule 3-way calls.

2. Focus On Personal Growth. How are you going to lead your team, if you can’t lead yourself. I suggest you read John Maxwell’s book “Talent Is Not Enough.” This is one of the few books I keep going back to on a regular basis to make sure I am staying grounded in the fundamentals.
